The hotel is set on the Arnold Palmer-designed golf course that hosts the Portugal Masters, one of the most prestigious events on the European Tour. Guests can also play on the floodlit tennis court or join the daily yoga sessions and fitness classes offered at the fitness centre. Bicycle rental and bike tours are available for exploring the surrounding Algarve landscape.

Dining & Bars

Three on-site restaurants include Sensai, serving modern Asian cuisine with local ingredients, and Ria, offering a seafood-focused menu. Four bars are spread across the property: the Palms Pool Bar, the Cascades Pool Bar (open June-September), the Lobby Lounge for afternoon tea, and Botanic for post-dinner drinks. The Cascades Pool Bar is an adult-only area during certain seasons, providing a quiet setting for cocktails and chilled wine.

Spa & Wellness

Staff were amazing and always available. The hotel provided valet parking and front desk services. The large room included modern decoration and a quiet environment. It was comfortable for my stay.

I found the pool was not heated.

Breakfast was quite nice with a good variety of choices.

The air conditioning was manual and old. It did not cool well. There was a very strong smell of cleaning products after the room was cleaned. It sometimes caused a headache.

the food was very good at ria restaurant. the staff was always friendly during my whole stay. they were always happy to help.

the hotel gave a free shuttle service into town. the location provided a calm and relaxing environment, it was away from the centre of town and some may find it a bit isolated.

the main pool area allowed for relaxation.

My room's cleaning was inconsistent. It often occurred late in the afternoon, around 4:30 or 5pm. this was despite me activating the request service. also, the lack of variety in evening dining options was disappointing.. the cost did not match the quality.
